About The Project

Hard to find a work bench that fulfills your specific requirements. So I decided to build my own. Its a multipurpose bench that utilizes a computer table and work bench into one unit. Required one 4x8 piece of plywood with oak surface. This piece covered the top and one side panel. One smaller piece of plywood panel was purchased for second side panel. Bench has strong steel L-bracket supports underneath to ensure strength without sacrificing leg room. A height of 29 inches gives you the feeling that you are on top of your workspace to ensure comfort. Top was finished with a dual polyeruthane/stain mix and was given 3 coats. Electrical unit was added underneath to provide more AC outlets. On-going project. Requires shelving and storage units.

Pretty nice desk. Large enough to suit any kind of work. And for a very low cost.
